A Trip to The Farm!

Cowboy Clark!

Learning to feed the horses...

actually feeding the horses!

Clark used 3 different brushes on the horse.
Clark was a little afraid at first...but then he loved riding!

I think it helped that he had a cute girl with him!

Clark's First Day of Preschool

Clark, Dad and Henry walking into school! (Mom could not be pictured as she was weeping through the entire experience.)
This is the one time Clark cried a little...we wouldn't let him run right to the playground!

Here is my little baby off on his own in preschool...letting go is so hard!!!!!!!!!

Clark's Three 3rd Birthdays!

Sunday night was chocolate cake at Gram and Papa's
...Clark's favorite dessert!

Monday, Clark got presents from
Grandma, Grandaddy, Auntie Kristin, Auntie Ashley and Uncle Taylor!
This was ACTUALLY March 19th! Grandaddy was still here
and we invited our sweet Myriam over to celebrate!

Umm....do you notice a theme with Henry???

Myriam, Mommy, Clark and Henry.

Myriam helped Clark with the candle on his cupcake.
Look at the intensity with which the boys are looking
at their cupcakes...I love it!
Happy Birthday Dearest Clarky Boy!

Pretty Spring Day!

This picture is from a couple of months ago, but how cute is that Clarky's smile?????

Henry was really trying to help pot some flowers for the kitchen window sill. Unfortunately a few moments after this picture was taken, he started "drinking" soil from that little pot in his left hand!!
There it is...the dirt mustache!
Clark helped a little with the planting, but had other things to attend to.

The Wedding!

Here comes the Bride...and Max! This was such a great moment. I was so lucky to have such a prime vantage point! Emily and Cody were both teary...so in love!

I'll post more pictures from the wedding later. Kevin took mostly video of the boys, and I can't figure out how to get a still image from them.

Fun in Utah!

Here we are on the Plane to Utah. The boys loved it. Henry clapped and said "Yay!" as we took off and Clark just kept saying "Wow!"

Clark took the trip very seriously.

I got to see Leisha while we were in Utah! We had so much fun catching up. She only lives about 10 minutes from my in-laws...that is a lot better than Chile!

Kevin said something VERY funny to us, but I don't remember what it was...

Kev, the boys and I went on a day trip to Provo and Midway while the rest of his family was throwing up. We were glad not to be sick, but Clark's trail being closed was a bummer!

We had to go to good old Brick Oven after showing the boys where they would one day play football and touring the BYU Campus!

Happy New Year from Utah!

Happy New Year Everyone! We are in Utah this year for the holiday. Kev’s family goes bowling as tradition so that is what we are doing tonight. I think the boys are at the perfect ages to be hilarious bowling…I look forward to it!

Yesterday we played in the snow. I thought I would be “Super-Fun-Snow-Mom” and slide down the snow-packed stairs from the deck to the back yard, on an inner tube, with Clark on my lap. I also thought it would be a good idea to run my arm against the stair railing to make sure we didn’t go too fast. Well, both of my ideas turned out to be much more frightening and painful than I expected, but we made it down with relative safety! And I am here to type about it today. (Don’t worry, Clark didn’t experience the pain or fright…just the fun!)

Henry kind of liked the snow. He thought it was funny when I threw snowballs at him. I did too. It is nice to have a snowball fight with children that can’t really throw yet! I recommend it, but I know someday I’m in for major pay-back.

Our puppy Deuce is living the high life at my mom and dad’s. He has grass to play in and lot’s of friends. Milo, Jack, Ringo and Francie are all residing in the general area!

Well, my resolution this year is to de-clutter and simplify my life! I just watched a movie about Mother Theresa, and realized there are many small and simple things I can do in my own home to make it a more peaceful place.

Best wishes to all of you for 2008! We love you!
Kevin, Katie, Clark and Henry Larsen
